A Christian organisation founded in 1947, Homesdale offer residential care and sheltered accommodation for elderly people with a focus on Christian concern and on meeting the needs of their residents. They are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and are a registered charity. Homesdale (Woodford Baptist Homes) Ltd. is a faith based Charity operating care homes in Wanstead, East London, providing sheltered housing, care and support for the retired. Homesdale offers residential care homes in East London for 18 residents while Hunter Court and Mountier Court provide sheltered housing in Wanstead for over 100 people. The on-site Domiciliary Care Unit provides practical support for those wishing to remain in their Sheltered Housing flats. If a move to Residential Care is subsequently requested then there is little change or trauma as the entire operation is based on a single site.
Residential care is provided for 18 residents in need of a high degree of care. Sheltered housing is provided for over 100 residents who are more independent and active.
