Our Serious Crime department has unparalleled experience in dealing with the most serious allegations including cases such as murder/manslaughter, recent & historical sexual offences, complex frauds, drug importation/production/supply, robberies, grievous assaults, large-scale conspiracies & Proceeds of Crime Act (POCAs). Our Magistrates' & Youth Court department deal with the less serious allegations such as criminal damage, public order, minor assaults, thefts, dangerous dogs cases and Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs). Road Traffic offences are handled by our specialist motoring lawyers who use their wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge to obtain the best possible results for our clients, especially when clients are at risk of losing their driving licence. Common driving offences include drink driving, drug driving, failure to provide specimen for analysis, failure to provide driver details, dangerous/careless driving, disqualified driving, speeding, no licence or insurance, failure to stop/report accident etc. We also specialise in representation at special measures & exceptional hardship hearings. Less serious driving offences are usually non-imprisonable and therefore do not qualify for legal aid.
