Pete Farrugia BA (Hons), DipLCM, DipMus has been a music educator since 1978. A long-time member of the Registry Of Guitar Tutors (RGT@LCM), Pete is a regular examiner for RGT@LCM, which is strongly affiliated with the London College of Music. As a full-time professional, PeteÂ’s knowledge and experience of the guitar, bass guitar and ukulele, together with music theory and music technology derive from his long experience as a working freelance musician, after many live performances, recording sessions and broadcasts. This is backed up by sound educational qualifications, including an honours degree and two diplomas. PeteÂ’s students come from all ages, backgrounds and previous experience levels. He is CRB/DBS checked, and operates from his fully equipped home teaching and recording studio. For those unable to visit, Pete also offers online lessons using Skype and FaceTime. Pete offers coaching and entrance for the full range of RGT@LCM graded exams and performance awards, with a 100% pass rate. Of course, many want to play just for fun, and these students are also very welcome and well catered for. PeteÂ’s vast archive of handouts for students includes song charts, instrumentals and studies is almost unparalleled, and builds up week by week into a comprehensive course of study for your chosen instrument. All this is backed up by PeteÂ’s popular YouTube channel, which enhances your learning experience with free lessons and backing tracks.
