Award winning B&B also available www.greatashley.co.uk Our beautifully converted self catering barn is nestled in a quiet country lane on the edge of Great Ashley Farm, Bradford-on-Avon. Our family owned and run working farm and equestrian yard, The holiday cottage surrounded by peaceful Wiltshire countryside & is ideal for couples wishing to get away from it all, families, walkers, golfers and cyclists. The cottage is very rural but the UNESCO world heritage city of Bath is just on it’s doorstep and the beautiful quaint Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon with the Kennet & Avon Canal, shops, pubs and restaurants is less than 2 miles away. The town is very proud to have it's very own Gold Postbox and is home to Olympic Gold Medalist Ed Mckeever - Lacock, Stonehenge, Wells, Castle Combe and The Cotswolds are all with in easy reach. Great Ashley Farm cottage has recently been awarded a Gold Accolade from Visit England. The cottage has been beautifully decorated throughout retaining many of it’s original features with high quality furniture, fittings and lovely soft furnishings. The high standard of furnishings creates a warm and cosy interior. Enter the cottage in to a spacious open plan living area with limestone flooring, exposed timbers, a fully equipped farm house style kitchen contains an electric oven, hob and microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer The dining area contains a country kitchen table and four chairs. There are comfy sofa’s and flat screen T. V and DVD player in the sitting area with French doors leading onto the patio with cream wrought iron furniture, and a barbecue making it perfect for those lovely warm summer evenings. The cottage has plenty of parking In the hallway to the rear of the kitchen there is a small utility area with laundry facilities and coat storage. The two pretty bedrooms offer twin and double bed accommodation with quality pocket sprung Airsprung mattresses with lovely soft furnishings and crisp white linen assuring you of a restful nights sleep. The twin room is large enough to accommodate a cot – there is a cot and high chair available in the cottage.
