Bondstones is a Somerset based planning and design practice - trading under the relatively amorphous banner of: 'Chartered Surveyors'. We specialise in Rural Property Asset Enhancement - Architectural Design and Rural Planning Consultancy. Our primary focus being the 'change of use' and improvement of existing buildings & land(and other related planning matters across the wide, rural spectrum). Our usual instructions tend to include a combination of one or more of the following elements: - Rural / Residential - Leisure - Tourism & Hospitality - Farm Development & Diversification - Agriculture & Equestrian The practice is owned and operated by Ian Firth - a Chartered Surveyor with many years experience in rural property matters - especially in contentious planning & development projects... One of the things that sets the firm apart from competitors is our open and collaborative approach with other specialists... It's fair to say that no one can be an expert in all things and, accordingly, we know our limits: We call upon an extensive network of independent, experienced and trusted colleagues to add expert input where needed. With this in mind we are proud to offer a 'complete' service for almost any project! Our approach provides added advantages for private clients - significantly that our low overheads(and correspondigly reduced professional rates) mean NO VAT is payable on most project fees... Yet the service we offer will match(if not, exceed) that of any of the 'big names' that operate locally. We always happy to discuss projects in confidence at no charge, we try to focus in on both needs and wants to ensure that every project is a complete success on every level...
